He was strong, resilient… a perfect host.

Malick brings in the Inhuman theyd snatched last week, a.k.a.

Medusa Eyes, to see if he can get through to him.

Once he takes his glasses off, the guy manages to stun everyone, even other Inhumans.

But Hive is impenetrable.

He doesnt do anything except send his parasites to take him over.

Meanwhile, Talbot (Adrian Pasdar) is seeing his wife, Carla, off at the airport.

He just wants to get along!

But Talbot is having none of that.

Apparently, the conference that theyre going to is some kind of symposium on alien contagion.

But theyre met with a surprise because it turns out Creel wasnt there to assassinate Talbot.

He is there toprotecthim.

Creel is less than forthcoming with information, but Simmons wants to re-fire up the Inhuman study anyway.

Hunter is not on board with any of this, and neither is May.

And while Coulson is all for giving people second chances, evenheisnt sure this is something he agrees with.

(Excuse me while I die.)

Also, in case were not clear, May is NOT here for being friends.

(Or woman, thank you Bobbi Morse.)

Collect intel on any foreign Inhumans and uncover insider info so they can track them back to Malick.

Coulson will be going undercover himself, so as not to arouse suspicions.

Fortunately, theres an app for that!

A Fitz-made app, at least.

Talbot is overly suspicious of everyone, and its kind of amusing to watch him go undercover like this.

What else is Talbot bad at, aside from going undercover?

Running a symposium, apparently.

Because when has Hunter ever followed the rules?

He finds a van with a carton inside, which contains Talbots son in some gel matrix.

He manages to quickly radio his team before Creel knocks him out.

May saves him and realizes that Malick is blackmailing Talbot with his son to get to Coulson.

Malick shows up announcing Coulson is the Director of Hydra, which makes Talbot their inside man.

Meanwhile, Daisy and Lincoln are training, and by training, I mean theyre fighting.

I mean, theyre making out.

Oh, whatever, theyre sparring, which is basically a metaphor for sex at SHIELD.

And naturally, their session ends up with them almost making out.

She shows Lincoln whats happening with Creels DNA, which is that it stops terrigenesis and breaks it down.

(I know, FOX is not actually Marvel property.

Just roll with it.)

NEXT: You didnt know he was going to double-cross you?

He wants to know where his son is.

Malick isnt really willing to comply, so now theyre both screwed.

You didnt know he was going to double-cross you?

Points for Phil Coulson!

Daisy comes to Lincoln to apologize, and the two talk out their issues.

In Afterlife, it was different, now, hes scared of losing control.

And hey, that would he Hive!

Hecantdo that because they cant feed on their own kind!)

(When I say theyre in deep cover, I mean theyre inreally deep cover.)
