Rolling Stonehas revealed in its cover story on J.J. AbramsStar Warsfilm that Admiral Ackbar will make an appearance inThe Force Awakens.

First showing up inReturn of the Jedi, where he uttered the now meme-iconic line, Its a trap, Ackbar also appeared in the animatedClone Warsseries.

Tim Rose, who serves as the actor beneath the Ackbar costume, hasindicated his return beforeand somehave speculatedhe is the Mon Calamri glimpsed in a recent TV spot for the film, butRolling Stones story ensures Ackbar will return to hopefully warn Rey, Finn, and the rest of the new characters of the dangers in their way.

Little is known about how Ackbar will factor intoThe Force Awakens, but other returning faces, likeHarrison FordandCarrie Fisher, have spoken to EW about what stepping back into those iconic shoes was like for the latestStar Warsfilm.
