I had nothing to write about.

I had no chord ideas.

My mind was with my kids.

If I dont care, Im not going to sing.

The singer says her creative tide turned when she recorded25s Remedy with Ryan Tedder in New York.

He just soaks up everything.

Next time I think Ill spend a month to six weeks working with him.

I didnt want to make him feel awkward or nervous, she said.

I will write with him for the rest of my career, I think.

I dont want to be on someones record and its shit.

I found [the paparazzi] really difficult, she told Lowe.

They were hiding thats what freaked me out.

I was being followed.

I didnt think I was ever going to leave my house again.

They seem to be so respectful of me now.

Despite the relaxed media scrutiny, Adele played her cards close to her chest when discussing touring.

I always wish I had the nerve to do a few more things, she said.

I would love to tour, I really would.

It was the biggest crowd Ive ever seen.

I froze of fear.

Adele also explained some of the inspirations for25.

One thing that didnt inspire the songs?

Parenthood, at least not directly.

A lot of my fans arent parents.

A lot of my fans probably dont want to be parents.

But she explained that her son gives her newfound purpose.

My kid makes me proud of myself, she said.

I had no ambition before this album.

I was never reaching for anything.

Then when I had my kid …

I want to show him what I manage to pull off.
