The universitys independent student newspaper,The GW Hatchet,published an editorialon why Bronson should not perform.
She added that Bronsons music harbors harmful beliefs and normalizes violence against women and LGBT individuals.

It doesnt matter that Bronson wont perform his song about sexual assault.
What matters is that the University is paying him to perform at our school.
But, the song in question has caused people discomfort and pain and Im sincerely sorry about it.
Last May, Toronto festival NXNE removed him from thepublic main stage for similar reasons.
